The inside tub is metal, however, top of it is not and the plastic is coming apart and a joke everytime I wash I get pieces of the plastic in my laundry.

The drive system on these units is different than previous washers. You may hear the motor sound as the motor alternates directions along with some gear sounds.

The most common problems with this washer has been the leaking problems. If you access the washer and see water stains on the back left of the base or you actually see water coming out of the over flow tube you have a transmission problem. What happens is the brake does not hold the tub still during the agitation mode and the tub spins and agitates at the same time.
